Senior Technical Program Manager - Hardware Technology Engineering

Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree AND 4+ years experience in engineering (Electrical or Computer or Mechanical), product/technical program management, or product development
- OR equivalent experience.
- 2+ years experience managing cross-functional and/or cross-team projects.
- 4+ years experience in systems technology from the chip to the datacenter environment
- 4+ years experience in working and collaborating between hardware and datacenter infrastructure teams at large scale
- 4+ years experience in building technology roadmap from incubation to scale execution
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 10 years of professional experience with hardware, data center, program management engineering, new product introduction, driving requirements, managing schedules, identifying, managing and mitigating risks.
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, assess opportunities and develop principles to prioritize multiple strategic and tactical options, and drive issues to closure with a high bar on quality
- Proven ability to work and collaborate with a wide range of business stakeholders to achieve results and impact

Responsibilities:
- Drive and own technology roadmap, adaptation, unlock scale
- Define and drive testing, reliability, performance OKRs and roadmap challenges and solve them
- Data driven reports, studies, and projects
- Be an expert with hardware, server, data center cooling, liquid cooling, cryogenics, power and network concepts of innovations, and sustainability for the cloud
- Be very familiar with cloud technology and business including vertical integration knowledge of Software/chips/server/data center/ sustainability
- Able to navigate organizations and build partnerships, trust, and collaborations
- Able to grasp deep level engineering concepts and technologies and Convery them in simpler business-related terms up the chain
- Able to establish strategic planning that spans:
- Multiple programs, technologies, and disciplines
- Communicate and structure, milestones, commitments, budget, project, fiscal year planning
- Able to work with SMEs and extract the essence and impact and convey it up the chain
- Work closely with SMEs and help drive technological inanities from small programs to larger initiatives, this includes:
- Early incubation planning and budgeting
- Defining what success looks like
- Defining the whys and business impact
- Finding and reaching out to partners
- Arranging/planning roadshows
- Planning of next stages
- Managing and planning Tactful knowledge and ownership transfers
- Building a team portfolio by augmenting the technology roadmaps to be impactful and fluent
- Ability to build detailed and high level slides conveying different technology projects in a professional and high quality structure. Audiences will include SMEs and execs
- Establishing cadence (weekly/monthly) to track team progress and early locating issues before they arise
- Coordinates with both the internal account manager and client-side project manager to plan and execute all project activities.
- Remains cognizant of multiple concurrent projects, continually prioritizing activities by importance, deadlines, status, and dependencies. Maintains effective time management skills on a daily basis, ensuring all project plans are up to date, and ensures communication is made to the appropriate people.
