Job Description

Bungie is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to deliver evolving web experiences and systems that complement our games and connect with millions of customers. In this role, you will work with a wide range of internal and external teams to deliver on our company’s vision of engaging and rewarding players wherever they are. You'll provide regular updates to our web portal and platform, supporting our very passionate player and developer communities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive stakeholder alignment and team execution of website and service deliverables in alignment with Central Technology’s values
  • Balance schedules, team morale, budgets, and resource requirements to meet business goals
  • Build, maintain, and communicate product roadmaps in support of immediate and long-term requirements
  • Foster a strong working partnership with internal game, publishing, and technology teams
  • Consistently and clearly communicate status to stakeholders
  • Manage and flag risks, and establish mitigations
  • Engage with external partners to explore, integrate, and operate technology solutions
  • Leverage industry knowledge and learnings to build and maintain a broad understanding of web service strategies, tools, and best practices at Bungie
  • Ensure security, privacy, and legal policies are followed in accordance with company guidelines

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Experience working with engineering teams on large-scale consumer technologies
  • Experience working in a Technical Production, Technical Program Management, or equivalent technical project leadership capacity
  • Ability to drive complex technical problem solving and decision-making
  • Experience managing agile projects, coordinating the work and rituals for a multi-disciplinary team
  • Exemplary communication and collaboration skills: aligning with partners and customers across multiple teams, representing the technical and experiential requirements for your products
  • Experience analyzing, evaluating, and integrating technology to address evolving requirements

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • Familiarity with DevOps / web service operations practices
  • Experience working in a live service environment
  • Experience working on SDKs or partner developer platforms

Most Bungie full-time employees will adopt a digital first approach allowing remote work in Bungie approved locations (outside of positions identified as 100% onsite in Bellevue/Seattle, or individuals preferring a hybrid/flex environment). Prospective full-time employees located outside of CA, CO, DC, FL, GA, IL, MA, MD, MN, NC, NJ, NY, OR, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, or WI will need to establish residency in one of the states we are compliant in within 45 days of a start date. Contractors will follow a digital first approach adhering to the location guidelines agreed upon by our third-party employer/vendor and Bungie. Bungie’s remote policy is subject to change at the company’s discretion.
