Role Summary
The Sr. Technical Project Manager leverages deep technology, process and domain expertise to drive execution across multiple interdependent projects within a program; ensures outcomes delivery on time, within scope and budget and of desired quality. Utilizes technical, organizational and communication skills to ensure compliance with the Program Management framework. Coordinates overall and is personally responsible for project execution and provides leadership updates on health and status of assigned programs.

Role Summary

Coordinates overall and is personally responsible for project execution and provides leadership updates on health and status of assigned programs.
Essential Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day execution of projects part of the assigned program
- Track requirements, stakeholder expectations, key milestones, testing progress and project health and provide regular updates to customers
- Outline multi-generational project strategy aligned to deliver on the expected outcomes
- Coordinate internal and vendor Technical Project Managers executing various projects across multiple programs
- Work directly with global technical teams, both internal and vendor provided, to drive execution of projects in portfolio
- Support execution team with resolution of roadblocks and interdependencies. Partner with technical and functional teams external to the project to ensure their tasks are completed as required
- Provide regular portfolio status updates to leadership
- Measure, improve and provide updates to leadership on maturity of project management practices
- Drive improvement initiatives and incorporate latest industry trends
- Perform initial and final financial reviews, and ensure ongoing budget tracking
- Define execution methodologies and project management practices to be followed by all projects within the program
- Organize project teams comprising from internal and external technical and functional experts based on budget, scope and timeline
Qualification/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science, or Engineering
- Minimum 6 years of IT and/or Finance professional experience
- Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Project Management including financial management leading cross functional initiatives and/or large global projects
- Minimum 3 years of experience with financials suite of ERP implementation including at least one full life cycle implementation
Desired Characteristics
- Proven experience using project management methodologies to deliver business value and drive significant change across an organization
- Strong understanding and knowledge of various project and portfolio management methodologies with track record of implementing shared standards for large organizations
- Oracle ERP project management / data management/ change management experience
- Working Capital optimization and/or Account Reconciliation solution implementation experience
- Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization
- Self-starter - requires minimal direction to accomplish goals
- Strong team player - collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources
- Demonstrated customer focus - evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer, builds strong customer relationships, creates processes with customer viewpoint and partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives
- Strong analytical and strong problem-solving skills -communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information / data to make decisions, anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve, creates actionable strategies and operational plans
- Change oriented - actively generates process improvements, champions and drives change initiatives, confronts difficult circumstances in creative ways, balances multiple and competing priorities and executes accordingly
- Proficiency with MS Office suite of products such as Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- PMP, Scrum Master or related project management certifications
