About the PositionThe Senior Technical Recruiter will partner with Octave’s Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Product Management leaders to understand their hiring needs, help define hiring criteria, and build talent pipelines to achieve technical hiring goals. We are looking for a consultative and creative recruiter to grow and scale our teams. This person must be a builder who thrives in a large growth and dynamic environment.
Essential Responsibilities:- Build and maintain trusted partnerships with hiring managers. Clearly understand their organization needs in order to source and present high-caliber and diverse candidate slates.
- Own talent acquisition strategy for product and engineering hiring.
- Create engaging candidate experiences.
- Serve as a thought leader and collaborate on overall recruiting strategy and plans.
- Build and maintain a network of potential candidates through proactive sourcing and on-going relationship management; conduct in-depth interviews of potential candidates and make interview recommendations.
- Own ideas and strategies related to candidate sourcing and candidate pipeline building, that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company.
- Source and attract a diverse pool of candidates that represent the communities we live and work in.
- Participate in special projects/recruiting initiatives including assessment of best practices in sourcing and interviewing techniques.
- Mentor early in career team members.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in full-cycle recruiting for technical profiles in an agency or corporate setting.
- Ability to influence hiring leaders as relates to talent strategies and hiring decisions.
- Experience solving problems and delivering significant impact as a contributor.
- Ability to grow customer relationship management, provide consultative skills, and work in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to take initiative and build productive relationships.
- Excellent accountability, work ethic, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated expertise in Boolean search methodology and other sourcing tools/channels.
- Passion for building and cultivating strong relationships with candidates.
- Comfort with ambiguity and willingness to adapt your approach particularly in the context of evolving search parameters or timelines.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or anytime in the future.
Starting pay for qualified applicants will depend on a combination of job-related factors, which may include education, training, experience, location, business needs, or market demands. The expected salary range for this role is set forth below and this range may be modified in the future.
The salary range for this role is $140,000-$170,000.
Additionally, this position is eligible for the following benefits: company sponsored life insurance, disability and AD&D plans. Voluntary benefits such as 401k retirement, medical, dental, vision, FSA, HSA, dependent care and commuter/parking options are also available. Octave offers generous Paid Time Off as well as paid parental leave benefits.
