Senior Tools Engineer – Core Systems and Workflow

As a Senior Tools Engineer on the Core Systems & Workflow team at Bungie, you will enhance developer effectiveness and quality of life spanning multiple game projects. You will contribute to a wide variety of areas including content creator tools, asset importing, and local developer iteration. You will also create exciting new technologies that can completely change how people work.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain production-quality C# and C++ code
• Optimize and extend systems and workflows built with .NET and WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation).
• Work closely with content creators and engineers from multiple teams
• Build trust and collaborate with other engineers to solve challenging problems
• Manage engineers, providing support, technical mentorship, constructive feedback, and career development coaching

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Solid programming foundation and application of core principles (algorithms, data structures, object-oriented design, performance, etc.)
• Ability to create, extend, and maintain code in large systems using C# and .NET
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers of different technical and non-technical backgrounds to build features and achieve goals
• Experience leading (managing, mentoring, or guiding) engineers through planning, developing, and shipping
