Senior UI/UX Designer

• You have demonstrated strength in formulating and articulating UI/UX strategies
• You have a proven track record of delivering products consumers love across a number of platforms
• You collaborate with product management and engineering to understand users, translating understanding into design artifacts
• You are informed and opinionated on industry best practices to integrate in our continually evolving product development process and elevate the product experience
• You lead your own design projects from brief, research, and concept exploration through prototyping, visual design details, and stewardship through development

Responsibilities
As a Senior UI/UX Designer at cove, you'll join our Design team and play an integral part in the product development process by ideating and creating for our users. You will partner tightly with product and engineering to understand pain points, validate your designs, collaborate, adjust, and iterate quickly. You will be a conduit for the user, providing quality UX experiences that move the needle of what great results look like. At times, you will innovate processes and make swift adjustments to ensure the speed and quality of team output.
Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as a UI/UX Designer working with product team and tech leads
• Superior ability to produce useful, clean and delightful designs
• Expert in designing for multiple screen sizes and platforms: native mobile, responsive mobile, and web
• Experience leading the end-to-end design process
• An excellent portfolio that shows the entire product design process from ideation/iteration to final delivery in a range of cross-platform work
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with an ability to build strong relationships both within and outside of the product organization

Nice to haves (but not required)

• Experience creating processes for a product design team
• Experience with Agile Software development practices
