• 5+ years of experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies
• strong conceptualization and visual communication abilities
• exceptional design skills, production value and attention to detail
• the ability to create wireframes as well as visual design comps
• strong working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and associated design tools
• an understanding of common software development and agile development practices
• Bachelor’s Degree (General work experience may be substituted for education. The requirement for education levels can be substituted at the rate of 1½ years of experience for every year of education)

We'll REALLY love you if you have/are: (This is the bonus stuff that makes you stand out)

• working experience in managing products or services in Cloud platforms and/or SaaS at scale
• Human Factors certifications such as CUA, HCI, NNG UXC
• experience architecting transformative digital experiences
• versed in user research and testing methods to derive quantitative and qualitative data
• an expert using Sketch, InVision, and Axure
• a portfolio creating modern, responsive interfaces, large-scale websites, and/or mobile apps
• a bachelor’s degree or higher in Human Factors, Psychology, Information Science, or equivalent (Advanced Degrees Preferred)

What your day will look like:

• You'll work with an open and motivated team designing digital experiences that solve agency missions
• You will be responsible for leading user experience strategy, improvement assessments, information architecture, wireframes, and user research activities
• You'll strategize about how to integrate web, mobile, data and emerging platforms into seamless interconnected ecosystems
