Senior UX Designer, eCommerce

Blueprint Test Prep is looking for a passionate Senior UX Designer, who will deliver user experience designs to support our growing business and continue to create positive customer interactions with our products.
This key role will be a part of our eCommerce Team, which is a fast-growing group of digital strategists, product managers, user experience experts, and technologists.
We are a premier Edtech company and leading platform for high-stakes test prep for pre-law, pre-med, med school students, residents, practicing physicians, PAs, and NPs. We use cutting edge technology and powerful data to create personalized and innovative learning experiences
Who You Are

• Expert-level knowledge and experience (5-7 years) crafting user experience strategies, UX design concepts, interactive prototypes, design specifications, site maps, user journeys, etc.
• Advanced-level knowledge and experience with qualitative human-centered research methods such as contextual inquiry, usability testing, heuristic analysis, concept testing, competitive assessment, listening labs, survey development, etc.
• Advanced-level understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of different research methods and the right balance between qualitative and quantitative data to make low risk decisions
• Strong storytelling skills that enables you to turn various qualitative and quantitative data sources into a compelling and easily understood set of design recommendations

What You'll Do

• Create simple, intuitive, engaging, utility driven experiences that exceed our customers' expectations and delivers business value.
• Champion a cohesive approach to user experience design across departments and develop strong cross functional relationships.
• Partner with the Director of eCommerce, Marketing and Analytics to proactively identify, define and deliver high value UX enhancement and testing opportunities.
• Become the voice of our customer through a deep understanding of our customers motivations, behaviors, habits and unmet needs.
• Own the execution and final design deliverables such as experience strategies, information architectures, customer journey maps, wireframes, design concepts, interactive prototypes and other design related deliverables.
