Job Description
We are seeking an SVP of People & Culture to collaborate with our CEO and executives in building a world-class team at Invoca. We believe that the best software companies are built on three key pillars -- technology, people, and brand. Given that employees develop our technology offerings and deliver the in-person experiences that pay off the brand promise, it really all comes down to people! You will be charged with driving the future of People & Culture, in partnership with our CEO.
In this role, you will be responsible for talent acquisition, total rewards / people operations, learning and development, business partners, and employee and workplace experience. We have baseline teams, technology, and processes in each of these areas, but you will have the opportunity to refine and improve them based on feedback and best practices. And in partnership with our executive team, managers, and our employees, you will drive a number of strategic changes at the company:
We use PeakOn to keep a finger on the pulse of employee morale and feedback, and the team will work with you to enhance our award-winning culture through continuous improvement. Finally, you will do all this by striking the right balance between an agile, start-up environment (speed and flexibility) with the processes necessary as companies grow and scale (process and rigor).
Location
Our 400+ employees work from home on a day-to-day basis, and our executive team is spread across 5 different cities. We have concentrations of employees in the Santa Barbara, Chicago, Denver, and San Francisco areas, and we are constantly iterating on strategies to deliver a hybrid of remote work and in person interaction. As an example, we gathered 350 employees at our Santa Barbara headquarters in August for a week of deep collaboration and getting to know one another. Thus, we are flexible on your specific location.
Required Skills / Expertise
Salary, Benefits & Perks:
Teammates are eligible to begin receiving benefits on the first day of the month following or coinciding with one month of continuous employment. Below are some of our offerings:
DEI Statement
"Our company is committed to creating a culture that is not only grounded in continuous learning, teamwork, and customer success, but is fair, equitable, and welcoming for everyone." - Gregg Johnson, CEO
And to us, diversity, equity and inclusion means more than treating current employees well and making them feel welcome. It also means hiring people who bring different insights because of their unique demographics, ways of thinking, and prior experiences.
We intend to continue hiring great people and protecting our culture so everyone can be themselves and speak their minds. That way Invoca will always be a place filled with laughter, positivity, thoughtfulness and respect.
We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender, gender identity or expression, or veteran status. We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
