Senior Windows System Administrator

As a Senior System Administrator at Dynamo Software, you will join a team of technology experts, collaborate with all teams across the board and be responsible for ensuring uptime of product services, servers, network equipment, eliminating outages and providing resolution to end-user issues.

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Root cause analysis and resolution of infrastructure issues
• Maintain and monitor the performance of systems and services
• Perform standard MS SQL database maintenance and administration tasks
• Configure and monitor backup, archival and data restoration tasks
• Operate with cloud environments such as Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure
• Deploy, maintain, and administer VMware virtualization technologies
• Participate in security remediation by analyzing the vulnerability reports and deploying patches to the infrastructure components
• Provision new machines and provide administration of end user devices as necessary
• Follow and implement the company's data security and regulatory compliance policies
• Identify and propose improvements on procedures and infrastructure architecture
• Define customer requirements and contact vendors for hardware and software procurement
• Act as a technical subject matter expert by research and analysis of new technologies, define the requirements and organize migration activities, be the technical contact point and lead implementation projects
• Mentor new and existing team members to facilitate early adoption of systems.

What We Are Looking For:

• 5+ years' experience in IT operations and system administration
• University degree in Computer Science or similar
• Proficiency with installation, configuration, patching and troubleshooting of Windows Server and Linux systems
• Strong knowledge in MS Active Directory and Microsoft 365 technology stack
• Extensive experience in AWS, Azure, and VMware ESX/ESXi virtualization technologies
• Proven experience with administering MS SQL Databases is an advantage
• Relevant Python or PowerShell scripting skills for developing automation
• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive approach and can-do attitude
