SEO Analyst

As the SEO Analyst, you will play an integral role in shaping our SEO strategy, one of our top growth channels for 2023 and beyond. You will work closely with the growth marketing team to define content priorities, implement technical optimizations, create new ideas to improve UX and site engagement, and analyze weekly and monthly trends to drive organic growth initiatives forward. You will partner with our content marketing team, website development team, contractors, and agencies to own and execute organic growth strategies. Responsibilities:

• Analyze our SEO performance to determine strategic projects and initiatives to drive organic growth. 
• Spearhead our SEO-driven content strategy by conducting keyword and market research to define the best organic demand-capture opportunities.
• Implement new off-site SEO campaigns to help improve the quality of our backlink portfolio.
• Partner with our design team and contractors to develop UX improvements and A/B tests to implement on the Checkr website.
• Create and deploy recommendations for schema markup, site performance, and core HTML elements to improve the technical foundation of the Checkr website. 
• Report performance metrics to internal marketing stakeholders and support us in building and executing a comprehensive SEO strategy.

What you bring:

• A passion for SEO and growth
• 2-5 years of SEO experience with an emphasis on content strategy and on-site analysis
• Experience analyzing keyword, traffic, and lead data to make strategic decisions
• Experience managing large data sets to identify trends
• Experience using Google Search Console, SEMrush, ahrefs, Screaming Frog or related SEO tools
• A history of leading execution and measuring results for high-traffic websites
• Collaborative; drives projects forward across different teams
• Analytical; leverages data to make decisions for new theories to test
• Organized; ruthlessly prioritizes SEO-related tasks by growth opportunity
• Self Starter; go-getter attitude who likes to get things done on their own initiative
• Experience building SEO campaigns in the tech industry is a plus
• Experience managing content and plugins in WordPress is a plus

If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion. The salary range for this role is $72,267 to $150,420.
