This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities
- Approaching information architecture challenges with empathy and compassion.
- Working as part of an agile software development team - you’re a creative thinker and skilled communicator who thrives in cross-functional teams.
- Working within complex systems with multiple stakeholders.
- Organizing, structuring, and labeling content across multiple platforms to optimize efficiency and sustainability to avoid redundancy and instill trust.
- Developing draft information architectures for final products.
- Prototyping IA concept designs to validate direction with appropriate user and stakeholder input.
- Evaluating the performance of information architectures through analysis and research.
- Participating in a wide range of human-centered research projects including usability testing, contextual and stakeholder interviews.
- Working closely with the development team to deliver the best experience possible.
- Utilizing and communicating human-computer interaction (HCI) best practices.
- Reducing ambiguity in problems through quantitative and qualitative research – you work with researchers to go to the source and make sure you truly understand the issues that the providers and customers want to be solved.
- Working with researchers to define IA goals for usability tests.
- Communicating scenarios (using personas) to illustrate end-to-end experiences.
- Working with design leads and user experience designers to incorporate information architecture models.
- Considering user behaviors learned in a legacy environment.
- Working with customer support and user researchers to identify information architecture issues, and drive measurable improvements.
- Translating ideas into actionable, testable solutions, and working with engineering teams to define and implement those solutions.
- Measuring results. You define success through clear metrics so the customer can see what works and what doesn’t.
- Work with customer support and user research to identify current user experience issues, and drive measurable improvements.

- Engage and communicate with both technical and non-technical folks
