This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Service Technician in the United States.
As a Service Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and equipment functionality across a designated territory. This hands-on position combines technical service, customer training, and proactive problem-solving to ensure client satisfaction and compliance. You will conduct audits, install and maintain chemical dispensing systems, and guide customer teams in proper product use and sanitation practices. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, field-based environment, enjoys building strong customer relationships, and wants to make a direct impact on operational efficiency and safety standards.

Accountabilities:

  • Manage a designated territory, performing food safety and sanitation audits and servicing chemical dispensing equipment, including ware wash platforms.
  • Train customer staff on correct use of products, systems, and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Assess inventory and provide solution-oriented service recommendations to drive sales and account growth.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot chemical dispensing systems to ensure proper operation.
  • Identify sanitation violations and recommend corrective actions, communicating key issues to customer Quality Assurance teams or management.
  • Develop and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper care of assigned equipment, vehicles, and company property, while completing required reporting and administrative tasks.

  • Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in food safety, sanitation, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Email, Excel, and Word.
  • Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel at least 50% of the time, including overnight trips.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • NEHA CP-FS certification or ability to obtain within one year; other related certifications (RS, REHS, NRFSP) preferred.
  • Strong organizational, time management, communication, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and self-manage in a fast-paced, field-based environment.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health, Environmental Science, Biology, Life Sciences, or Food Science.
  • 2+ years of experience in installation, maintenance, or repair of ware wash chemical dispensing equipment.
