Service Technician Trainee Roofing

Overview We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Service Technician Trainee to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in the commercial roofing repair, and maintenance field. The Service Technician Trainee will work under the supervision of experienced technicians, gaining hands-on experience and knowledge in commercial roofing repairs and maintenance. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working with their hands and are eager to learn about commercial roofing, repairs and maintenance. Your primary focus will be learning essential skills and assisting in various technical tasks. Duties • Assist senior technicians in diagnosing and troubleshooting commercial roofing issues (leaks). • Participate in routine maintenance and repairs of commercial roofing. • Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed. • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment. • Attend training sessions to enhance technical knowledge and skills. Experience • Familiarity with hand tools and their proper usage is helpful. • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. • A willingness to learn new skills and techniques related to construction and maintenance tasks. • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. • Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
