Job Description

STR is looking for a ServiceNow Administrator to join the team and be a key team member in keeping our organization running smoothly. The ServiceNow Administrator will work with key stakeholders to design and develop enterprise business solutions for our customers and serve as the key technical resource leading the configuration, development, support, and maintenance of the ServiceNow application suite of capabilities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Perform application maintenance to include performance monitoring and error identification and remediation.
  • Manage support tickets, responsible for troubleshooting, as well as working directly with end users to resolve support issues.
  • Lead or support platform/tool upgrade planning and execution. This includes reviewing and communicating relevant release notes.
  • Manage platform/tool security: user/group access, administration, and access control lists. etc., per license allocations and best practices regarding privacy and security.
  • Partner closely with stakeholders within the enterprise to document business requirements/processes and build solutions.
  • Collaborate with managers, end users, and other stakeholders to identify and ensure data health and integration points between systems.
  • Develop, document, and maintain knowledge articles, system diagrams, operating procedures, and associated training plans for system administration.
  • Perform continual improvement activities on supported enterprise platforms research and advise on emerging products, services and standards supporting organizational goals.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience as a system administrator for ServiceNow is strongly preferred.
  • ServiceNow Certification, including Certified Application Developer, Certified System Administrator, or Certified Implementation Specialist
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance
  • Strong consultative approach to applying technological solutions to business problems
  • Strong familiarity with data preparation, processing, classification, and forecasting.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • High attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to exercise judgment and take appropriate initiative.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Experience with IT Service Management and ITIL best practices.
  • Demonstrated understanding of product management and development principles.
  • Familiarity with JavaScript and AngularJS.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development
