ServiceNow Platform Manager, #674 

Clearance: TSA Public Trust or the ability to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance 

Dev Technology is looking for a ServiceNow Platform Manager who will be responsible for supporting a government organization’s ServiceNow platform as well as collaborating with the internal ServiceDesk team, business partners and our ServiceNow development team to maintain, administer and develop the ServiceNow platform.  The Platform Manager will support the upgrade and release processes as well as maintain the overall health, stability and performance of the platform.

What you will be doing:

  • Support the development of the ServiceNow Roadmap
  • Develop and maintain governance and architectural standards and processes
  • Provide thought leadership as it relates to new releases and functionality
  • Perform daily maintenance and issue resolution
  • Coordinate daily ServiceNow ticket requests
  • Support implemented and proposed solutions on the ServiceNow platform
  • Attend meetings with managers and SMEs regarding process plans, functionality, and business processes
  • Perform and assist with any other functions as required by the manager, including special projects
  • Support the development team to implement and enhance core applications including, but not limited to, Incident Management, Problem Management, Knowledge and Change Management, Service Catalog, Service Portal.
    • There may also be a need to support SAM/HAM, ITOM SPM/ITSM, HRSD and SecOps
  • Support implemented and proposed solutions on the ServiceNow platform
  • Load, manipulate, and maintain data between ServiceNow and other system
  • Participate in deployment of features and any ServiceNow release
  • Maintain Test, Dev, Test and Prod instances
  • Develop and support governance for a multi-vendor development environment

Required Education, Skills and Experience

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor of Science/Arts degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems Degree, or a related field or comparable work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with ServiceNow
  • Minimum 3 years of experience Admin Experience
  • Demonstrated ability with ServiceNow incident, change, problem, request, CMDB and knowledge management applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • ServiceNow Platform Management experience
  • Experience with JavaScript, XML, HTML and service integration using REST API
  • Experience with source code control and software configuration management tools
  • Demonstrated ability with ServiceNow incident, change, problem, request, CMDB and knowledge management applications
  • Experience developing in a team environment and deployment of changes on multi ServiceNow environments using update sets or source control
  • Experience with agile development practices
  • Working knowledge of User Interface (UI) policies, data policies, UI actions, business rules and client scripts
  • Experience with MID servers, web services, email and other relevant technology to integrate tools with the ServiceNow platform
  • Experience with ServiceNow Platform Security - users, groups and role
  • Interest in learning and taking on increasingly complex tasks
  • Knowledge of application deployment process is a plus

Preferred Education Skills & Experience

  • ServiceNow Administrator Certification
  • CSM Certification is a plus

Our estimated salary range for this position is $85,600 - $150,000*, this presented salary range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Offered salary is based on experience, geographic location, and possibly contractual requirements as appropriate to the role.

*Salary could fall outside of this range.
