Position Overview :
The ideal candidate possesses service operations experience, excellent leadership abilities, outstanding interpersonal skills and effective communication capabilities. The Services Operations Manager will drive service operations, strategize with service leadership, continuously improve services and deliver a consultative approach to all service initiatives.
This role supports the pillars of operations: building or transforming service governance, collateral, reporting and tools/systems. The candidate will work cross-functionally with service leadership, operations leadership and other stakeholders to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the service team as well as to refine service offerings, approach to delivery of services and tracking of key metrics and related mechanisms.
Responsibilities :
• Streamline and revise service operations - sales management, governance, delivery management, collateral development, reporting and system/tool rollouts
• Define strategic direction, roadmap and monitor service KPIs
• Drive efficiencies, effectiveness, ROI and value of services projects
• Operationalize business processes to scale the services organization by establishing, enabling, documenting and iterating operating practices
• Execute change management, leveraging established skills to close organizational gaps and promote operational excellence
• Oversee cross-functional service teams to identify, prioritize and create action plans for continuous improvements to the services program to achieve objective
• Run the business/steady state operations mechanics
Qualifications :
• 5+ years of experience in service operations
• 5+ years of experience managing large-scale projects or managing organizational change
• Prior knowledge and experience with Quickbase is preferred
• Prior experience in a SaaS environment is a plus
• Knowledge of service operation mechanisms and practices
• Capacity to build relationships and trust with business partners/leadership
