Job Description
Summary
The primary purpose of the position is to serve as the single point of contact to coordinate sexual assault response when a sexual assault is reported at the installation. The incumbent serves as the designated program manager of sexual assault and sexual harassment victim support services, oversees local implementation and execution of the SAPR Program, and ensures comprehensive victim services are provided through a coordinated community response.

Conditions of Employment
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance.
- Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check. Any discrepancies must be resolved as a condition of employment.
- Must successfully complete a criminal history background check with no adverse information or feedback received. Child Care National Agency Check and Inquiry background check is required.
- Must comply with DoD Sexual Assault Advocate Certification Program (D-SAACP) policy guidelines and complete initial and ongoing certification training requirements.
- May be required to provide SARC duties and responsibilities in a deployed environment.
- Incumbent must have or be able to obtain and maintain a current state driver’s license.
- This position requires routine on-site access to government facilities. The incumbent may perform the tasks at an off-site location for ad hoc and situational telework only.
Qualifications
- At least four (4) years of specialized experience in victim assistance or advocacy within either military or civilian sector. (Note, if basic qualification is met with experience, this may also be credited for specialized experience requirement, if appropriate (e.g. four years of appropriate experience in victim assistance or advocacy, also fully meets specialized experience requirement.)
- Experience conducting effective sexual assault prevention and response trainings and briefings.
- Experience providing non-clinical, one-on-one support to victims of sexual harassments.
- Experience interpreting and applying sexual assault prevention and response policies within the Department of Navy (DON), federal government, or state/local government/private industry.
Education
In order to be considered for this position, the applicant must have one of the following:
- Four-year degree or higher in behavioral or social science; or related disciplines appropriate to the position.
- Combination of education and experience that provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
- Four years of appropriate experience that demonstrated that the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.

Salary is dependent on experience and/or education.
