Group Summary:
As part of Magna International Magna Energy Storage Systems Group develops and manufactures innovative fuel tank systems and components for heavy-duty trucks and passenger cars specializing in plug-in hybrids. At Magna you will be part of an international dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality products and shaping the future of mobility.
Job Responsibilities:

In charge of the outbound supply chain of an JIS production plant
Liaison with Production scheduling to ensure timely shipping of products
Complete understanding of the paperwork required for all outbound shipments
Liaison with the customers as needed to ensure timely scheduling of customer shipping requirements
Coordinate staging process with forklift personnel for JIS and batch shipments
Primary contact for customers shipping activities
Ensure FIFO is being performed
Create daily ship schedules and monitoring/modifying daily ship schedules in accordance with customer demand
Coordinating shipping schedule using customer portals as well as communication with carriers
Ensure shipping documentation is prepared in accordance with Magna procedures
Sending and monitoring ASN's according to customer requirements
Maintaining customer routings monitoring and reporting carrier performance issues
Responsible for record retention of BOL and customer documentation
Monitor and interact with customer shipping portals
Trains other employees as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Logistics/Supply Chain Diploma/Degree preferred or 3+ years' experience working with Suppliers/Inventory Control/ Customer Service or combination of education and experience
Ability to work in a team as well as performing tasks alone
Ability to multi-task/prioritize and work with little supervision
Excellent mathematical skills good computer skills and attention to detail
Experience with SAP R/3 preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Excel Power Point Word)
Ability to operate a forklift
