Group Summary:
As part of Magna International Magna Energy Storage Systems Group develops and manufactures innovative fuel tank systems and components for heavy-duty trucks and passenger cars specializing in plug-in hybrids. At Magna you will be part of an international dynamic team committed to delivering high-quality products and shaping the future of mobility.
Job Responsibilities:
  • In charge of the outbound supply chain of an JIS production plant
  • Liaison with Production scheduling to ensure timely shipping of products
  • Complete understanding of the paperwork required for all outbound shipments
  • Liaison with the customers as needed to ensure timely scheduling of customer shipping requirements
  • Coordinate staging process with forklift personnel for JIS and batch shipments
  • Primary contact for customers shipping activities
  • Ensure FIFO is being performed
  • Create daily ship schedules and monitoring/modifying daily ship schedules in accordance with customer demand
  • Coordinating shipping schedule using customer portals as well as communication with carriers
  • Ensure shipping documentation is prepared in accordance with Magna procedures
  • Sending and monitoring ASN's according to customer requirements
  • Maintaining customer routings monitoring and reporting carrier performance issues
  • Responsible for record retention of BOL and customer documentation
  • Monitor and interact with customer shipping portals
  • Trains other employees as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Logistics/Supply Chain Diploma/Degree preferred or 3+ years' experience working with Suppliers/Inventory Control/ Customer Service or combination of education and experience
  • Ability to work in a team as well as performing tasks alone
  • Ability to multi-task/prioritize and work with little supervision
  • Excellent mathematical skills good computer skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with SAP R/3 preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook Excel Power Point Word)
  • Ability to operate a forklift
