As a Silicon Product Manager, you will work in a matrixed environment, partnering closely with business product owners, engineering and supply chain and driving inputs to product roadmaps and supply plans. You will ensure that we have a cross-business silicon strategy with a foundation in strategic sourcing and lifecycle management in order to deliver the semiconductor and electrical components needed to build our products.

As a Silicon Product Manager, you will work in a matrixed environment, partnering closely with business product owners, engineering and supply chain and driving inputs to product roadmaps and supply plans. You will ensure that we have a cross-business silicon strategy with a foundation in strategic sourcing and lifecycle management in order to deliver the semiconductor and electrical components needed to build our products.
Your day to day
- Deliver insights to management on competitive dynamics and landscape shifts
- Perform ad hoc analysis including, but not limited to, competitive strategy reaction, competitive external statements tracking, and strategic implications
- Develop silicon architectures and strategies that leverage Poly's hardware, software, and machine learning capabilities to create products
- Inspire, coordinate, and lead a team across Architecture, software, hardware, Operations, and Product Management
- Ensure that Poly's silicon strategies are determined on-time to meet timelines for the various products in our hardware portfolio
- Manage global semiconductor vendor relationships and strategies; comprehend cost trends, models, pricing, yield, capacity, logistics, geopolitics, and competitive threats to manage the semiconductor supply chain; manage vendor performance and execution to contracts/forecasts across the global supply chain ecosystem.
What you bring to the team
- 5 years of Product Management and Development experience at a semiconductor and/or product company
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (e.g., Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Supply Chain, etc.)
- Technical domain experience with chip design, SoCs, CPUs, and GPUs
- Excellent communication skills to guide initiatives with cross-functional teams, as well as with executive management
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Math, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Master's degree in engineering or MBA.
