About the role

We are looking to add a Site Maintenance Crew Member to our growing Maintenance Department. As a Site Maintenance Crew Member you will be responsible for ensuring that the facilities are well-maintained and operational. They will be required to perform a range of tasks to keep the facilities in good working condition and provide a safe clean and efficient environment for employees visitors and contractors. This on-site position will directly support our maintenance operations at our Corsicana TX facility.

What you'll be doing

• Ground maintenance and landscaping.
• Perform regular maintenance on equipment and systems within the facility including HVAC systems electrical systems plumbing and mechanical systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of the facility to identify and address any maintenance or repair needs.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Assist with larger maintenance and repair projects including renovations upgrades and installations.
• Service electrical equipment and systems Medium Voltage and Low Voltage switchgear motor control centers utility panels.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment including storage areas and maintenance facilities.
• Comply with safety regulations and company policies to ensure a safe working environment for all employees and visitors.
• Communicate effectively with other team members supervisors and external contractors to coordinate maintenance and repair activities.
• Ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility or data centers including custodial engineering site services mining operations electrical and general maintenance are implemented and conducted in a manner consistent with Riot policies and directives.

What you'll have

• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work at heights on lifts and ladders required. 
• Detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Ability to work and collaborate in a team environment.
• Good communication and multitasking skills.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior facilities maintenance experience or relevant operation experience is preferred.
• Commercial Plumbing Experience.

Physical requirements and work environment

•  Ability to stand walk and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods
• Ability to lift and move equipment as needed (specify weight)
• Ability to work onsite in a mining or data center environment (heat noise etc.)
• Exposure to high noise levels and varying temperatures

• PPE & Compliance: Strictly adhere to all site safety protocols and wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times (e.g. safety glasses hearing protection steel-toed boots).
• Hazard Awareness: Proactively identify report and mitigate potential workplace hazards or unsafe conditions.
• Standards: Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and internal safety training.
• Organization: Keep all work areas clean and free of obstructions to prevent workplace accidents.
