The following position is to join our Corporate or Research Center Team:

Raytheon Technologies (RTX) has an opening for a Sitecore Architect (Sr. Manager, Business Systems and Transformation). Individual Contributor. Remote Opportunity.

The Digital Channels team is looking to add a talented Sitecore Architect to their group. The ideal candidate is someone who has extensive experience with Sitecore 9 and 10; not only as a developer but also has experience designing architectures and solutions for the platform (including cloud integrations, authentication, pipelines, container-based deployment, etc). Solid understanding of the full stack and be able to guide the company on the best way to solve problems as they arise.

Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with other professionals to determine functional and non-functional requirements for new content and/or applications
• Provide high-level system designs and specifications
• Collaborate on build-versus-buy strategies, mentor personnel, and views of the overall business strategy
• Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to quality, security, modifiability, extensibility and coding standards
• Communicate concepts and guidelines to development teams
• Oversee progress and ensure consistency with initial design and business goals
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers

Required Skills:

Typically a minimum of 10+ years' experience in Sitecore Architecture and software arena and a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree; Advanced degree and 7+ years related work experience.

• Extensive experience with Sitecore (certified) and related technologies
• Proven experience as software architect
• Experience in software development
• Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
• Excellent knowledge of system design and cloud architecture
• Understanding of software quality assurance principles
• A technical mindset with great attention to detail
• High-quality organizational and leadership skills
• High-quality communication and presentation abilities
• US Citizenship

Desired Skills:

• Azure PaaS
• Containers (Docker/Docksal, etc)
• SearchStax
• DevOps

Education:

Typically a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or related discipline or equivalent combination of related experience and schooling in lieu of degree

The salary range for this role is $107,000.00 to $225,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.
