WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:
As a Content Creator you will create original and highly engaging social content on an everyday basis for our client brands. You will be responsible for trend spotting, ideation, creative development, and execution of social content. The ideal candidate knows how to create content within the rules and etiquette of social platforms including (but not limited to): TikTok and Instagram.
Here’s what the responsibilities look like:
- Managing the day-to-day planning of new content independently with guidance from creative directors
- Creating 6-10 pieces of original content for our client brands in a week
- Creating content that is on-brand, on-strategy, leverages current platform trends and is true to a brands style, voice and aesthetics
- Working in collaboration with community managers to engage with the community and provide insights on content performance
- Being proactive and quick to take initiative -- can observe a trend and quickly assess if the brand should take part
- Finding creative ways to test new content and editing and filming techniques
- Actively attending team and clients meetings, presenting your work and ideas
- Being available to commute for shoots a minimum of 2 times per week
- Ability to be on and speak to the camera in content
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Plan, concept, shoot, edit and appear in content for TikTok, including trend research and music selection, in collaboration with the community manager.
- Own ongoing social content creation, including spotting suitable reactive moments for the brands in collaboration with community
- Keep up with the latest social media trends such as news, memes, formats, tracks, etc. and find relevant ways for the brand to participate in or leverage them through content
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Deep knowledge of social landscape and passion for creating content for consumer brands
- Knowledgeable and up-to-date in different social media trends and best practices
- Skilled in editing, shooting and writing for social content purposes
- Proven ability to create engaging short form content for TikTok and Instagram
- 2+ years experience working in social media, content creation or similar, with proven examples of successful work. Preferably experience working with kids and toys.
- Able to speak to and report on the performance of channels like (but limited to): TikTok, Instagram and Twitter
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple content projects and deadlines.
- Passionate about kids and child development.
All hires must be located in or willing to relocate to Los Angeles to work from our offices hybrid three days a week.
The annual salary range for this role is $75,000-$95,000 and may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic location and experience. Other compensation includes relocation costs, if applicable. Benefits for this role include health/vision/dental insurance, 401(k), stock purchase, vacation, sick and personal days, Also, you will be eligible (approximately thirty days after you commence employment) to participate in all disability, life, travel insurance plans and programs, retirement plans subject to the terms and conditions of such benefit plans.
