We’re growing and we are looking to add a Social Media Associate to our fast-paced and customer-oriented Marketing team.
Location: We’re a remote-first company and looking to hire this person anywhere between the PST - EST timezone.

In the Social Media Associate role, you will:
- Create social media content and campaigns that deliver engaging and educational content that share Jungle Scout’s value and promote the brand, while driving site traffic, leads, and supporting every stage of the marketing funnel and customer lifecycle. Includes collaborating with Design, Video, Content, and Marketing teams to create campaigns and content that promote stakeholder initiatives and messaging. The role also calls for brainstorming and introducing ideas for content, campaigns, and graphics.
- Design and drive a social media strategy to acquire, convert, and retain stakeholder audiences (prospects, existing customers, job seekers) across Jungle Scout’s social media channels and online communities. Includes maintaining and growing Jungle Scout’s social media channels and communities–currently 230K followers strong–across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, while focusing on engagement, impressions, and growing our audiences.
- Develop relationships and content partnerships with influencers and relevant communities to amplify Jungle Scout’s social media footprint. Includes social listening and commenting on other relevant social accounts. The candidate will work with ecommerce experts to become an expert in this industry.
- Partnering with Jungle Scout’s Customer Support team to ensure the team is aware of social media and content initiatives that will influence the social channels they monitor.
- Regular research and analysis that includes:
- Keeping up with timely ecommerce news and industry trends
- Social media best practices including algorithm changes and new opportunities
- Reporting and tracking metrics on social performance to ensure goals are met
- Identifying and making improvements that are needed.
The role also includes:
- Partnering with Jungle Scout’s Customer Support team to ensure the team is aware of social media and content initiatives that will influence the social channels they monitor.
- Regular research and analysis that includes:
- keeping up with timely ecommerce news and industry trends
- social media best practices including algorithm changes and new opportunities
- reporting and tracking metrics on social performance to ensure goals are met
- Identifying and making improvements that are needed
- Providing support to Communications team programs.
Who you are:
- A social media marketer with a proven track record of significant social media channel management and growth
- An analytical thinker with the ability to test and iterate based on data trends, signals, and audience interests on social media.
- Experience with 3rd party campaign management platforms
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent multitasking skills, flexibility, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience selling on Amazon not required but a major plus
