Social Media Coordinator

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for developing and curating engaging content for social media platforms. 

JOB SCOPE

The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for, but not limited to:

• Manage full cycle of corporate social media
• Research audience preferences and discover current trends
• Create engaging text, image and video content
• Design posts to sustain readers’ curiosity and create buzz around new products
• Measure web traffic and monitor SEO
• Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
• Collaborate with co-workers in best social media practices for increased content and engagement 
• Facilitate online conversations with customers and respond to queries
• Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans
• Develop an optimal posting schedule, considering web traffic and customer engagement metrics
• Oversee social media accounts’ layout
• Suggest new ways to attract prospective customers, like promotions and competitions
• Support in tracking of marketing costs against budgets
• Supports in marketing and advertising digital campaigns

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications  or related field OR minimum of 2-3 years in social media marketing 
• Minimum 2 years of B2B social media experience on LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as outstanding copywriting and proofreading skills.
• Ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data.
• Adaptability and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally.
• Understanding of consumer behaviors and industry trends.
• Tiktok experience is a plus
• Experience with photo and video production and editing is a plus
• Familiarity with Sprout is a plus
