Social Media Coordinator (Intern)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Social Media Coordinator (intern) to support the planning and execution of our social media initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional organisational, communication, and time management skills while maintaining a deep passion for the digital marketing field. As an intern Social Media Coordinator, you'll work closely with our communications department, contributing to daily activities like community management, content creation, and campaign execution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram) for both Kpler and MarineTraffic.
• Respond promptly to comments and direct messages on social media platforms, fostering a positive and engaging community.
• Monitor and analyse growth and engagement across all channels.
• Support marketing operations by compiling, formatting, and reporting on relevant data and materials.
• Collaborate actively with SEO specialists and digital marketers.
• Stay up-to-date and passionate about emerging technologies and trends in the social media landscape.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of social media channels and digital marketing principles.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and paid campaign strategies is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
• Creative and highly organised team player with high energy levels.
• Experience with social media tracking platforms is a plus.
• Basic video editing skills are desirable.
