Our headquarters are located in San Francisco and we have additional offices in Knoxville, TN and New York City with employees working remotely in AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, LA, MA, NC, NJ, NY, OH, OR, PA, TN, TX, UT , VA, WA, WI. All employees are required to have permanent residency in one of these states. Job Title: Society Partnerships Operations Lead

Job Intro: 

In this role, you will harness your passion for operationalizing partnership programs with Verana’s three critical society partners - the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Academy of Neurology and the American Urological Association - and their provider registries. You will be responsible for bringing together cross-functional teams to drive initiatives key to the long-term success of our Society Partnerships. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to manage internal and external stakeholder expectations to drive innovative projects forward. This is an exciting and impactful role for an exceptional, versatile operations leader.


Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing Verana’s day-to-day interactions with its Society Partners and supporting service offerings for our Registries and Provider Network
  • Working cross functionally with the Verana team to push forward critical joint Society <> Verana initiatives
  • Monitoring and reporting on goals and objectives for these partnerships both internally and with our partners
  • Balancing Society partner asks with Verana’s core business needs 

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience
  • Proactive operations management expertise 
  • Experience driving forward cross-functional, multi-stakeholder programs
  • Ability to uncover innovative solutions that meet the needs of both Society Partners and Verana’s Business 
  • Roadmap and communicate insights with multiple internal and external stakeholders and other teams, gathered from working with both the society side as well as current and potential life science/pharmaceutical customers
  • Identify new society opportunities and managing the process for building new society partnerships
  • Work with Societies on developing quality measures for their Registries that can strengthen MIPS incentives to contribute data
  • Possess patient empathy and an intuitive provider-focused mindset
  • Passionate for data-driven healthcare innovation

Bonus Experience 

  • Familiarity with CMS’s MIPS program 
  • Healthcare data insights expertise
  • Previous regulatory affairs, healthcare administration/economics, and/or pharma/clinical trials involvement preferred
  • Possess an extensive network of potential societies and prospective partnerships

We pay based on a market-based approach, supported with robust data and in alignment with the compensation of our existing team. We construct our compensation ranges based on the US national average but your pay may vary depending on your location and the cost of living index for that geographic area. In determining an offer, base salary will also be based on experience, qualifications, skills and market conditions.
Please note pay ranges for major metropolitan areas may be different.
National Pay Range
$131,750—$178,250 USD
