Job Description

As a Software Consulting Manager for Dematic, you will bring a mix of technical knowledge in supply chain-related enterprise software systems as well as an eagerness to recruit and develop strong presales talent. You will strategize and empower your team of up to 10 team members to think beyond selling to help customers on their journey to realizing value in their logistics transformation journey.

You will be partnering with sales leaders including the central and western US, and Mexico.

Tasks and Qualifications:

DEFINE & DRIVE SUCCESS:

  • Creating and executing strategies, tactics, budgets and KPIs to fulfill the assigned teams vision, mission, objectives and annual business plan
  • Assuring the best solutions are presented to customers based on accurate requirements gathering
  • Measuring, reporting and holding team accountable for presales performance
  • Researching and identifying market trends, technologies and solutions that are key to a customer's success and creating competitive advantage for Dematic

DEVELOP the TEAM:

  • Coaching, mentoring, hiring and training a team while consistently modeling Dematic and KION values and leadership competencies
  • Planning, requesting and justifying team expansion and training investment aligned to business needs

MANAGE WORK:

  • Evaluating, dividing, assigning and monitoring the assigned teams planning and concepting work, while prioritizing projects
  • Anticipating, preventing and driving problem-solving efforts for project, team and process performance

COMMUNICATE VISION, VALUE & NEEDS:

  • Presenting the vision to the team, motivating them to be the industry leaders by living out our Dematic mission
  • Presenting value to Sales and customers in the recommended solutions and the process by which they were selected, as a trusted advisor, while communicating our capacity and capability to Sales
  • Presenting needs to the Dematic Global Products and Solutions Management, Partnership and Procurement teams to meet market demands
Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Demonstrated ability to drive program results, hit deadlines, and measure team effectiveness
  • Exceptional interpersonal, team building, mentoring and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated willingness to take risks and make adjustments quickly
  • Executive-level verbal and written communication skills
  • 2+years successful presales manager experience
  • Travel estimated 20%

Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA
  • PMP Certified
  • 1+ years industry experience
