Software Design Engineer 4

Functional Responsibility:

• Software Engineer responsible for developing the next generation collective training software systems.
  • This includes the training management tools leveraging modern Angular frameworks, and micro-services within Java.
• Software is developed in an Agile DevSecOps development environment.

Minimum/General Experience:

• College degree in engineering or computer science plus five years experience with relative agile development tools.
• Requires competence with Angular and Java along with software analysis and design, performance analysis, configuration and data management.
• Experience with simulation systems like AVCATT, NCM3, CCTT, OneSAF, and VBS is a plus.
• Agile development experience in a DevSecOps environment is an advantage.
• Experience with Jira, Bitbucket, Bamboo, Confluence.

Minimum Education:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering, computer science, systems or software engineering from an accredited college or university.

Other Requirements: Please note that pursuant to a government contract, this specific position requires U. S. Citizenship status with ability to obtain a SECRET to TOP SECRET security clearance. Security Clearance requirements will be specified in the Government's Task Order.

Some travel may be required.
