Job Description:

Dynamo provides technical services to the US Department of Agriculture’s Forest Service. The technical team provides operations, maintenance, and development support for the electronic Management of the National Environmental Policy Act (eMNEPA) suite of applications. These applications include an integration service, public comment application, database API, public web pages, and administrative portals. The applications are hosted in 2 different cloud environments, USDA cloud and AWS cloud. Dynamo manages the AWS cloud. The eMNEPA system will be decommissioned in the next 5 years. Team is expected to support decommissioning activities as new capabilities are implemented by government.

Duties/ Responsibilities 

Serve as a developer working on the eMNEPA suite of applications for the Forest Service. Maintain and improve a series of backend applications written in C # and .Net, as well as front end web interfaces written in HTML/CSS/JavaScript. Respond to business requests from the Forest Service for bug fixes and application enhancements. Oversee monthly releases for C # and .Net application components. Create release documentation and knowledge articles related to resolutions or business work requests. Communicate enhancements to Forest Service personnel in a professional and informative manner. Manage some DevOps tasks, such as managing Git repository structure and procedures. Coordinate with FS IT administrators to resolve issues. The ideal candidate is proactive, self-motivated, and focused on customer satisfaction.
