Software Developer I

WHO WE NEED:
We're currently looking for a Software Developer I to join our agile Software Development team!
If you're a fit, the following things should sound like you:

• You are a problem solver and have the ability to think logically and communicate clearly
• You learn quickly and take the initiative to utilize resources outside of what is provided in order to succeed

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interact with a team of 3-6 developers and other stakeholders to develop features that enhance your assigned software product
• Produce code that follows current team coding standards (syntax, naming, etc.)
• Test your own code to ensure there are no obvious defects before committing
• Receive critical feedback on your work openly and improve/correct your code as needed
• Advance your knowledge of programming languages, libraries, and tools used by your team
• Develop a working knowledge of your product(s)' existing architecture
• Learn and apply existing software patterns in your work
• Assist debugging for support escalations and in teammates' code
• Grow your understanding of Agile development methodology by contributing to team meetings
