Software Engineer

Responsibilities Include:

• Build new software and data infrastructure for internal applications. 
• Lead 1-2 developers in maintenance of existing infrastructure and new solution implementation. 
• Provide detailed specifications and documentation for proposed solutions including execution time, frameworks, and scope 
• Coordinate with team members across the organization to determine needs and requirements of projects
• Iterate on designs to meet user needs and prioritize user experience
• Organize technical resources, identify gaps and devise solutions

The ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these qualifications

• 2+ years of experience designing software at varying scales
• BS or MS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or similar
• Experience with software development, database design, system architecture, and networking (Amazon Web Services, SQL/MySQL, JavaScript or TypeScript)
• Demonstrated ability to design and oversee implementation for a software project from start to finish
• Experience interfacing with end users and other stakeholders
• In-depth knowledge of software development best practices
• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment with an ability to prioritize work across multiple projects. 
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a small team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for being a hands-on problem solver willing to work across multiple disciplines and with shifting priorities
• U.S. Work authorization is required for this role.
