Software Engineer - Fullstack

Please note that while this will be a remote position, we are expecting and only looking for candidates who are currently based Dublin, Ireland or nearby. Unfortunately, we are not considering candidates who are based outside of Ireland at the moment.

What You’ll Do:

• Collaborate, design, document and implement architecture supporting mobile and web applications
• Follow established best practices based on design patterns
• Solve for and consider security, scalability, availability, and performance
• Estimate work, prioritize tasks, track dependencies, report progress, highlight blockers.
• Develop reusable user flows and components and assist in their integration with multiple product lines

About You:

Required:

• Experience developing new features for and maintaining a shipped product
• Skilled in JavaScript/TypeScript and React development
• Experience with Node.js development
• Experience with testing frameworks (e.g. Jest, Mocha, React Testing Library, Playwright) 
• Exposure to REST patterns and general API design, documentation, and testing including familiarity with tools like swagger and postman
• Ability to thrive as part of a small, fast-moving team
• Experience participating in the agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• Proficient with Git, experience with GitHub

Nice to Have:

• Experience developing reusable components, libraries and/or SDKs
  • Experience with XState
  • Experience with inversion of control or dependency injection patterns/frameworks (eg Inversify, Spring Framework)
• Experience working in the healthcare industry or a regulated industry (HIPAA, GDPR, EU MDR, FDA, etc)
• Experience developing for mobile web
• Experience developing progressive web apps (PWAs)
