ABOUT THIS ROLE

This is an incredible opportunity for Software Engineer I who will work closely with software development and business teams building products and services for customers of Apex Fintech Solutions' suite of financial back office solutions.  

Duties/Responsibilities

• Working with a variety of languages/frameworks such as Java Go Python and technologies such as RDBMS Kubernetes and Docker Google Cloud Platform 

• Designing developing testing deploying maintaining and improving software 

• Building resilient self-scaling self-healing services that allow you to sleep through the night 

• Writing high-quality well-tested code. Maintaining high code-quality standards across your team via code reviews 

• Attending training and expand domain knowledge on Accounts creation and Maintenance 

• Encouraging innovation by questioning business processes throughout the company 

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Software Engineering Electrical or Computer Engineering or a related field. 

• 2+ years of prior work experience preferred

Required Skills/Abilities

• Experience of software development skills in a modern object-oriented programming language ideally Java / Go Python considered a plus an RDBMS or SQL and the ability to learn new languages and technologies quickly 

• Excellent problem-solving skills with high attention to detail 

• Effective communication skills 

• Previous knowledge in financial markets isn’t required but interest is a plus 

• Adaptability: while you enjoy establishing process and standards you understand the need to be flexible and enjoy trying new things 

Work Environment

• This job operates operates in hybrid office environment 3 days per week.
