Software Engineer I - Lumere

The Lumere business unit in GHX is comprised of clinicians, researchers and strategic thought leaders focused on helping health systems eliminate unwarranted clinical variation and cut unnecessary costs-specifically related to medical device selection and utilization.
Software Engineers are the core of our value delivery system. We are responsible for the new and existing features, reliability, resiliency and accessibility of our SaaS application layer. We collaborate with Product, and Client Services to ensure value is achieved.
We are looking for a full stack engineer with either a focus on front-end or back-end development who highly values collaboration to help us build a world class application stack. If you are passionate about architecture, coding, UI and deploying the best software you can, we'd love to talk with you! We are a Postgres, AWS, Terraform, Python, Vue, TypeScript shop that thrives on being able to continuously deploy.
In this role, you will collaborate with team members to create quality software solutions which will exceed the expectations of our customers.
Essential Duties:

• Design, code, and deploy solutions to the Lumere product suite
• Assist with stories and tasks while working with other team members
• Learn best practices and apply them using the best tools in the software industry
• Day-to-day collaboration and interactions with technical team members and product team members
• Apply Lean principles to iterate quickly and obtain feedback
• Grow and be challenged in our open, challenger-mindset environment
• Create innovative solutions to unique challenging problems

Other Duties & Responsibilities

• Contribute to our devOps strategy
• Create automated tests to strengthen our CI/CD approach
• Share technical learnings, participate in technical brainstorming sessions
• Create technical documentation in wikis and presentations

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• BS Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics or equivalent practical experience.
• Python/Django or similar web framework experience
• JavaScript frameworks

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• 1-year prior software development experience and/or internship

Estimated Salary range for this position: $62,100-$88,000
The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX's total compensation package for employees.
