As a Software Engineer III on the Aya Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) rapid response and remediation (HOT) team, which is focused on fixing bugs and delivering hotfixes, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of the systems and applications that power our organization and empower our customers. SRE teams are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining systems that are highly scalable, fault-tolerant, and resilient. As a Software Engineer, you will be primarily responsible for identification, diagnosing, and fixing software bugs and issues quickly and efficiently. You will work closely with other developers, QA engineers, DevOps/Site Reliability Engineers, database engineers/administrators, and key business stakeholders to reproduce, isolate, and diagnose problems and to develop and implement fixes and hotfixes that address them. Success in this role requires a deep understanding of software development, systems engineering, and operational excellence, as well as a passion for solving complex problems and delivering high-quality solutions. You will be part of a team that is dedicated to delivering highly reliable and performant systems that meet the needs of your organization and its customers.
This person in this role should be located in PST or MST time zones. This person may need to be available non-core business hours when there are 10 pm PST HOT releases.

Responsibilities:
- Provide senior-level programming for next generation application based in C# and .NET Core, relational databases and distributed n-tier application platforms
- Make recommendations as to feasibility of implementation of modified or new technologies and / or frameworks
- Maintain and apply strong understanding of business practices to effectively fulfill responsibilities while working on multiple high-priority tasks
- Play an active role in the design and development of new code
- Participate in scrum agile development process
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years' experience developing with .NET and C# (including experience with .NET Core)
- Strong/advanced Angular experience is required; Kendo UI experience is nice to have
- Strong/advanced experience with .NET, C# and technologies such as WEB API
- Strong/advanced experience with Entity Framework Core
- Strong SQL skills
- Familiar with TDD, be able to write unit tests for existing and new code
- Flutter experience is a plus but not required
- Microsoft Azure experience is nice to have
- Experience with SOA, Web Services and large distributed systems
- Strong understanding of design patterns
- Ability to quickly learn new technology and apply knowledge to solve technical and business problems

Compensation: Aya reasonably anticipates the pay scale for this position to be an annual salary of $156,000 to $165,000.
The pay scale for this position may vary if applicant possesses experience outside of what Aya reasonably anticipates for this position. Bonuses are subject to the role and your manager’s discretion.
