Software Engineer III

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our Billing & Fraud Prevention team. Our business is rapidly expanding and we’re developing a best-in-class billing and payment processing system to support new products and pricing models. At the same time fraud is rapidly increasing in the shipping industry and we are building fraud detection and prevention systems to protect ourselves and our customers from bad actors. As a Senior Engineer you will provide leadership and oversight in technical design systems architecture and coding for your team as well as the Engineering team as a whole.

Shipping & handling responsibilities:

- Contribute to our SaaS billing system bundling pricing and packaging tools in order to support go to market strategies

- Maintain and extend our existing postage billing system to support a high throughput invoicing system

- Contribute to and maintain our fraud prevention ecosystem

- Work with our product team to refine the scope of new products and capabilities

- Collaborate with fellow engineers to create milestones that support product requirements

- Mentors fellow engineers

Do you tick the ​​boxes​​?

• BSc in a STEAM field with a preference for computer science and software engineering

• 6+ years of experience of hands-on engineering experience building high volume distributed systems and scalable APIs services or applications

• Coding experience in server-side programming languages (e.g. Go Python Java Ruby)

• Experience with data analysis and reporting

• Excellent communication abilities adept at conveying information clearly and effectively to stakeholders across different departments and levels within the organization

• Experience developing and maintaining highly performant billing and invoicing systems
