This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP, Ecommerce based in Brazil.

This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for owning and scaling a multi-brand direct-to-consumer ecommerce ecosystem across multiple Shopify storefronts. You will define and drive the end-to-end digital commerce strategy, ensuring best-in-class user experience, conversion performance, and operational excellence across all sites. Acting as the central owner of ecommerce execution, you will lead cross-functional teams spanning engineering, design, and CRO while partnering closely with growth, lifecycle, and brand teams to maximize acquisition and retention. This role requires a strong balance of strategic vision and hands-on execution, with direct accountability for site performance, experimentation, and revenue impact. You will also play a key role in shaping how AI is embedded into ecommerce operations to accelerate speed, testing, and decision-making. This is a remote-first leadership position ideal for someone who has scaled high-performing DTC businesses and is ready to do it again with greater leverage and modern tools.

Accountabilities:

  • Own the end-to-end ecommerce strategy, roadmap, and performance across multiple Shopify-based storefronts and brands.
  • Lead and develop cross-functional teams across ecommerce operations, engineering, design, and conversion rate optimization.
  • Drive conversion rate optimization through structured experimentation, data analysis, and continuous improvement of the customer journey.
  • Oversee site architecture, performance, stability, speed, and infrastructure to ensure a best-in-class shopping experience.
  • Act as internal product owner for engineering and design teams by defining requirements, writing specifications, and prioritizing builds.
  • Partner with paid acquisition, lifecycle marketing, and brand teams to align on acquisition, retention, and revenue growth objectives.
  • Build and scale subscription, membership, and bundled purchasing experiences across brands.
  • Launch new ecommerce brands and digital storefronts from concept to execution.
  • Establish an AI-enabled operating model to improve productivity, experimentation velocity, and decision-making across the ecommerce function.
  • Requirements:

    • 12+ years of ecommerce experience, with deep expertise in Shopify and direct-to-consumer (DTC) business models.
    • Proven experience scaling a $100M+ DTC or ecommerce business with measurable impact on revenue and conversion performance.
    • Strong background in conversion rate optimization, experimentation frameworks, and customer behavior analysis.
    • Hands-on experience owning subscription businesses, including churn reduction, retention strategy, and lifecycle optimization.
    • Experience acting as a product owner for engineering teams, including writing specs and driving delivery (not only managing external agencies).
    • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools to improve team efficiency across design, development, analysis, and operations.
    • Strong leadership experience managing and scaling cross-functional ecommerce, design, engineering, or growth teams.
    • Deep analytical mindset with the ability to translate data and customer insights into actionable product and site improvements.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and execution skills in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
    • Highly ownership-driven, data-oriented, and comfortable operating in an environment of rapid iteration and ambiguity.
