Reporting to the VP of Engineering, we are seeking a mid level Software Developers (full stack) who are excited to learn, shape, and grow with our fully remote development team. Our developers are given the opportunity to engage with the full lifecycle of the product, from requirements gathering to design, development, and support. This allows you to have your hands in the entire product, be creative, and take ownership. We are a fully remote team, but our office is located in Atlanta. You are always welcome there!
Location: Remote! We are based in Atlanta, GA but you may also work remotely across the US.
You will...- Work collaboratively with your product development team in designing new features and enhancing the current product
- Develop the frontend and backend of our application using Ruby on Rails, React and Javascript in a Docker environment
- Influence our standards for high quality code, testing and patterns
- Respond to production events and triage and prioritize based on customer impact vs in-flight work
- Fully participate in agile rituals drawing from experience to find best practices with the team
- Be a part of a growing engineering team to learn and teach as we build a challenging and exciting development practice and product
Specific experience is less important than a demonstrable desire to learn and the ability to complete complex projects. However, a good candidate should have the following:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience (bootcamp grads are welcome to apply!)
- 2-3 years of experience in web application development
- Database experience in MySQL or similar relational database
- Experience working in a environment where unit testing, integration testing and automated testing is important
- A collaborator who is comfortable pairing with other engineers to unblock and solve problems
- Ability to work autonomously to tackle large projects without close monitoring
- Excited to explore and pick up new technologies and programming languages
- Experience with Ruby on Rails
- Experience with a frontend framework (React, Angular, Backbone, etc)
- Docker
- Unit Testing
The salary range for this role is $115,000 to $130,000 with opportunity for an additional annual variable compensation, and final offers are determined using multiple factors including experience and level of expertise. SingleOps complies with applicable law regarding pay transparency.
Work authorization sponsorship is not available for SingleOps roles at this time. Candidates must have proper work authorization to work for any employer in the United States, without sponsorship from the company.
