As a member of our ML Team, you will be part of the team that is building the AI-based solutions in Yalo. We use cutting-edge technologies in the industry both for backend development and ML algorithms.

We're looking for people that will bring different solutions to the table and work with increasing standards. Our team is strongly motivated to enhance Yalo's products through ML solutions.

As Senior Software Engineering, you will work between the consumers of features backed by artificial intelligence and the actual algorithms/models, enabling the ML Team to easily release these features in production, configure different models by customer, perform controlled experiments and apply optimizations in our services.

What are the activities of a Senior Software Engineer?

• Design and develop large-scale distributed software services and solutions.
• Consider the full stack of work required on features including backend/services and SDKs.
• Improve test coverage for services, organize and implement integration tests, and resolve problem areas.
• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain and improve software.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Focus on overall service quality.
• Improve test coverage for services, organize and implement integration tests, and resolve problem areas.
• Consider testability, portability/monitoring, reliability, and maintainability, and understand when code is ready to be shared and delivered.

Experience you need to perform this role:

• 7 years of software development experience.
• Experience in Java, C/C++, C#, Objective C, Python, JavaScript, or Go.
• Strong experience in RESTful Microservices
• Container technologies such as Docker or Kubernetes
• Strong API design, development, and management
• Strong experience in service observability
• Clear communication, including the ability to create functional charts

Nice to Have:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Master’s, Ph.D. degree, further education or experience in engineering, computer science, or other technical related fields.
• Experience with cloud-native technology, CI/CD.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Experience creating APIs with Go.
• Experience working with ML teams.
