Software Engineer, Reporting and Insights

The Role:

The Software Engineer, Reporting and Insights will help their team deliver high-quality work on time. You will be a key contributor within a software development team, and will craft great software and automated tests to assure the design and quality of your code. You will also own delivery of features, independently, and will provide thoughtful input that helps with scoping and design for your team. Reporting to the Director of Platform Insights and Administration, you will partner closely with Engineering, Product Management and Product Design to refine ambiguous work items into clearly defined, valuable work items.

Why We’ll Love You:

You have 3+ years of full stack experience in software development and have demonstrated success working in a software as a service (SaaS) environment. You are able to leverage your intermediate experience in Python to effectively build and deploy highly performant REST APIs. You also have intermediate experience in Javascript, ES6 and either React or Next.js. Additionally, you have a firm understanding of relational databases and experience in MySQL. You are deeply committed to building a more inclusive digital education platform and have experience working with WCAG and accessibility standards, web fundamentals, and responsive design. And on top of your technical skills, you are excited to work in a collaborative and inclusive environment that supports continued improvement through code reviews and feedback.
