The Opportunity
Employer: USAA Federal Savings Bank
Tasks: Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role. Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled. Follow written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities. Design, develop, code, and test complex technical solutions collaborating with senior engineers. Lead code/design reviews to ensure smooth daily operations and accurate planning at a team level. Resolve complex production issues with independence by troubleshooting complex applications and systems independently. (20972.54)
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field followed by six (6) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Position requires experience with:
- REST frameworks;
- API Development;
- Agile methodology;
- RESTful API;
- HTML/CSS, and ES6;
- GIT or SVN (Code versioning tools);
- CI/CD (Automated pipeline tools to build, test, deploy stages);
- Javascript;
- Mocha, Node, and NPM (testing frameworks);
- Springboot; Kafka; OpenShift, Docker, or Kubernetes;
- Relational database design and optimization with Oracle DB2, MySQL, or Postgres;
- Designing and developing automated test framework; and
- Integrating with backend services like JMS, J2C, ORM frameworks, or JDBC.
