The Opportunity

Tasks: Identify and manage existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role. Ensure risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled. Follow written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities. Design, develop, code, and test significant technical solutions collaborating with senior and lead engineers. Lead code and design reviews to ensure smooth daily operations and accurate planning at a team level. Organize work and lead team to deliver features and solutions. Independently resolve complex production issues and lead troubleshooting of end-to-end solutions that span multiple applications and systems. Mentor and coach junior engineers. May begin working with architecture to help influence directions for key technologies within a specific domain. Provide support to the Enterprise and have an opportunity to significantly impact organizational growth and effectiveness through delivering best in class technology solutions. Engage in all phases of the software systems and application development lifecycle which include gathering and analyzing requirements, designing, testing, documenting and implementing software, and responding to outages. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Science, Computer Applications, or related field followed by six (6) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a computer software position. Position requires experience with:

1. Object Oriented Programming - Java;

2. Spring Boot;

3. REST APIs;

4. Microservices;

5. Apache Kafka Streams;

6. JPA, Hibernates, IBM DB2, and SQL;

7. Junit and Mockito;

8. React Js;

9. Maven and Gradle;

10. GitLab CI/CD and Docker;

11. Openshift Container Platform (OCP);

12. AWS Cloud Solutions;

13. IntelliJ IDEA, Eclipse, and VSCode;

14. Prometheus, Grafana, and Splunk; and

15. Agile methodologies.
