Job Description
Software Engineering Advisors are able to articulate clear business objectives aligned to technical specifications and work in an iterative, agile pattern to deliver value based outcomes. They must exhibit ownership and accountability over their day to day work deliverables, embrace interacting with all levels of the team and business partners, and raise challenges when necessary. This role will require fast paced learning with continuous growth as a technical lead for the applications responsible for. In addition, the candidate must have an automation first and continuous improvement mindset, driving the adoption of CI/CD tools while supporting the improvement of existing and available tool sets/processes. Candidate should drive the adoption of CI/CD tools and support the improvement of existing and available tools sets/processes. We aim to employ cutting-edge software engineers rather than institutionalized developers.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years' experience being past of Agile teams and working in Agile methodology working Scrum or Kanban
- 5+ years of experience in IT delivery
- 3+ years of working with the Mainframe DB2, IMS
- Awareness of web development frameworks like Angular, other Node.js systems
- Awareness of Java, Java Scripting and Object Oriented languages
- Experience using Test Driven Design (TDD) and unit testing as part of software development using packages NUnit, JUnit, PyUnit, Ansible, etc.
- Experience developing in an CI/CD environment (Jenkins/Ansible experience a plus)
- Web Application development as well as RESTful/API services, microservices and platforms (WebSphere, IIS, JBOSS)
- Experience with the utilization of TFS/Git version control software
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge and/or experience with Health care information domains is a plus
Responsibilities:
- Understand Overall System Architecture
- Get involved in determining the long-range strategic direction of systems.
- Serve as contact for architecture, design and development for multiple critical applications which involves Claims & Claim Reimbursements domains.
- Understand and can map out the hardware, software, tools, languages, and databases utilized from an enterprise perspective and how all data, applications, hardware, and users interact.
- Implement software engineering solutions for diverse and complex business requirements including packaged application customization, cloud migration as well as multi-systems integration.
- Analyze customer business requirements which requires end to end business knowledge on Healthcare, Technology skills and well versed in agile methodologies.
- Design and recommend appropriate solutions to implement and/or upgrade applications. Interact with business and development team on a regular basis to resolve issues or provide clarifications on architecture and/or design documents.
- Responsible for all facets of the development, maintenance, and support of applications with strong emphasis on the analysis of the business requirements and written communication of technical design.
- Support production implementation activities. Perform advanced troubleshooting and debugging of application programs using Full-stack software developer tools in support of business and customers.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 100,500 - 167,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
