Job Description
Provides expert content/professional leadership on complex Application Development assignments and projects. Ability to analyzes, designs, develops and implements solutions for team applications. Works closely with business and IT Management and staff to identify development solutions and technology.
Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.
Responsibilities:
- Researches and evaluates alternative solutions and recommends the most efficient and cost-effective application programming solution.
- Documents, tests, implements and provides on-going support for the applications.
- Exercises considerable creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.
- Uses deep professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders.
- Focuses on providing thought leadership within Application Development but works on broader projects, which require understanding of wider business.
- Can build solutions that integrate multiple technologies.
- Has experience creating Micro Services. Is capable of mentoring more junior developers. Is capable of leading Offshore staff.
- Uses professional knowledge and acumen to advise functional leaders.
Qualifications:
- Must be a current contractor with Cigna Healthcare, Evernorth Health Services, or one of their subsidiaries.
- Possesses Full Stack developer skills such as ReactJS, Java, SpringBoot, New Relic, Python.
- Knowledge of SQL required.
- Knowledge of Kafka and NoSQL Databases a plus.
- Has experience creating Micro Services.
- Has experience with Agile methodology.
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 100,500 - 167,500 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
