Leidos is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to be part of the mission solution and help lead Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC)'s Information Technology/Information Management (IT/IM) Strategic Plan. Join one of our high performing teams responsible for building the enterprise APIs, Databases and modern responsive user interfaces, supporting the NRC and their mission to meet the changing nuclear power needs as described in the recent passage of the Advanced Act and ensuring the safe use of radioactive materials for beneficial civilian purposes while protecting people and the environment. We are a team of forward-looking professionals in need of a strong candidate with these key required skills: Microsoft technologies - .Net 4.8 (older apps), .Net 8 (newer apps), Visual Studio 2019/2022, Restful APIs, jQuery, BootStrap, JavaScript, SQL, Jira, Bitbucket (Git), technical analysis and documentation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform Technical Tasks as assigned, including software development, technical analysis/research and testing
• Creating technical documentation which could include Test Cases, User and Administrative Guides
• Assisting PM to run SCRUM daily meetings
• Attend team meetings and report status
• All other duties as assigned or directed.

Basic Qualfifcations:

• Currently enrolled in a master's degree program at the Junior/Senior level.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
• US citizenship required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Agile Development
• Knowledge of Microsoft Technologies which could include Co-Pilot and Power Platform)
• Knowledge of Crystal Reports.
• Ranorex (automated testing), test case development and verification, SQL (data verification)

Pay Range:

Pay Range $55,250.00 - $99,875.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
