QuickFrame by MNTN is a Video-as-a-Service solution that optimizes every aspect of production to enable global brands, fast-growing DTC businesses, publishers, and more to create data-driven video content at scale. Our platform connects clients to a global network of specialized creators, full-service production companies, and boutique creative shops that produce high-performing, audience-specific videos—at half the price and twice the speed of traditional video production.We are looking for an individual to lead our QuickFrame Engineering team. You will define the next generation software platform for QuickFrame, build a cutting-edge technology stack, and hire a team of talented Software Engineers to deliver a top notch, scalable, and beautiful product for both brands and creators alike.

Our microservices handle hundreds of millions of requests per day, upon which a platform for real-time behavioral marketing is built to drive performance in cross-device advertising. We heavily utilize open-source technology and in-house solutions to meet the low latency demands of rapid response advertising.

As a Software Engineering Manager, you will guide the development and maintenance of our audience targeting system. This role includes a blend of hands-on development and guiding the team with day-to-day managerial decisions.

• Manage, grow, and mentor a team of Software Engineers.
• Hire, grow, and manage a diverse team.
• Have an expert understanding of modern software development lifecycle using scalable Agile, including experience with CI/CD frameworks.
• Coordinate customer-facing changes across various technical and non-technical stakeholders including other engineering teams and customer support teams.
• Own the processes on your team.
• The role reports to the VP of Engineering.

• 4+ years of experience managing product-oriented engineering teams
• 4+ Experience with UI technologies such as TypeScript, React, GraphQL, and Node.js
• 4+ Experience with SQL and database concepts
• Experience working with UI/UX designers
• Experience with UNIX in navigation, debugging, data manipulation
• Experience with scripting languages
• Exceptional people skills –mentoring, guiding, scaling, delegating
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to contribute tactically and strategically
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and multiple priorities

• 1+ years of experience in a product-manager-like role
• Experience with SVN/GIT and how it relates to managing release cycles
• Experience with AGILE methodologies and ensuring sprint priorities are met
