Software Engineering Manager

Our Security Research team at Nozomi Networks is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead the development of our internal infrastructure, a critical foundation for our Threat Intelligence products. In this role, you’ll oversee key projects that enable our team to collect, analyze, and share intelligence on emerging threats. This infrastructure supports our capabilities, passing through real-time data analysis, machine learning for threat correlation, and secure intelligence sharing with partners—all essential to maintaining the high-quality, actionable insights our customers rely on. Your leadership will be essential in shaping a resilient, scalable architecture that integrates seamlessly with our core product offerings.

In this role you will:

• Lead and mentor a dedicated task force of developers working on specific security infrastructure projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects, ensuring effective alignment and collaboration with other teams.
• Embody the company's cultural pillars and mission to protect what matters most with transparency and trust.
• Oversee and prioritize key infrastructure initiatives, particularly those involving cloud technology and integration with the core products.

To be successful in this opportunity, you will need:

• People Management & Collaboration: Demonstrated experience in managing and developing a technical team, with strong people management skills and a talent for coordinating cross-team projects.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python and Go, with experience managing cloud infrastructure on AWS.
• Monitoring and Data Visualization: Familiarity with observability and performance monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, Loki) to ensure operational insights and system reliability.
• Agile Methodologies: Practical experience with Agile practices, with a proven ability to apply them effectively in security-focused projects.
• Confidentiality & Data Privacy: Ability to operate in environments requiring strict confidentiality and data protection protocols.
