Cognizant is looking for Software Engineer(remote) for developing customized product for our clients. The role is expected to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

Location: College station, TX(Open to remote till Covid restrictions)
Job summary
Should be capable of developing and executing the project from Onshore. Should be able to connect with the customer to get the requirements and translate them into design and implement the approved design
Experience : 4 to 6 yrs

Roles & Responsibilities
1) Good experience in Web Application development with ASP.NETMVC C Multi threading Design Patterns SQL server OOPS Concept Windows Web Services
2) Good analytical problem solving and planning ability
3) Experience with source control tools like TFS GIT
4) Should be able to do Unit testing and integration testing of the code written and coordinate for UAT
5) Should be able to do automated unit testing and experience with code quality tools such as SonarQube
6) A willingness to work independently or in a team-oriented environment both efficiently and courteously
7) Should have excellent communication skills as this role requires client interaction Web API Entity Framework DevOps Agile Scrum development
8) Come-up with innovative ideas on improving the existing application to improve efficiency and capacity to lead the team

Qualification: Holds Bachelor's degree, Computer Science or relate course preferred
