Our location in Irving, TX currently has an opportunity for Software Integration Engineer, R&D
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Integration testing throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. Heavily interacts with the development teams to ensure the right tests are being executed properly.
- Overseeing product development activities to meet corporate goals as well as business and customer needs
- Proactively identifying and mitigating project risk, and expeditiously resolving project issues
- Organizing a project plan (project scope, timeline, and budget) to satisfy milestones and deadlines with required actions
- Monitoring and communicating project status, plans, issues, timelines, action items, and budgets internally and externally. Recommend and implement corrective actions.
- Creating , maintaining and updating project plans that will drive schedule as well as resources management (internal and external)
- Encouraging and facilitating strong project communicate and collaboration using project management and product development best practices; including change management , requirements management, and risk management
- Participating in the overall improvement efforts of the integration test team by seeking and sharing feedback and identifying opportunities for efficiency
- Analyze operating data, metrics and statistics to identify opportunities, develop action plans, and implement process improvements.
- Develop and implement process solutions to improve operational efficiency.
- Updating existing process, systems and tools, as needed.
- Assist in promoting the implementation of best practices.
- Complete software testing and activities for development user stories within an Agile SDLC process. Perform exploratory testing, system level end to end testing
- Investigate and report unexpected events, issues or software bugs. Verify fixes.
- Accountable for the successful completion of project tasks on time and within budget.
- Accountable for managing resources (direct and matrix) assigned to project regarding project tasks.
- Includes mentoring and providing feedback to team members; Accountable for the successful completion of project tasks on time and within budget.
- Assure that Design Control and compliance requirements are met.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 2-4 years of experience; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Moderate knowledge of Agile methodologies
- Moderate level of understanding of test methodologies
- Analytical & problem-solving skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Moderate Project Management skills- planning, execution, monitoring, reporting
- Technology skills (MS 360, Sharepoint)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated success in technical proficiency, creativity, and independent thought.

The base pay for this position is
$71,300.00 - $142,700.00
